I don't quite pack yet, but I'm just trying to figure out what kinds of options there are available for me. I'll probably fashion my own solution like a sock to hold my packer or just cut a pouch out of my underwear to hold the packer.
I'm not too much of a fan of extra stuff in my undies D: (straps, etc.).

I'm not a fan of my junk rubbing against my skin. It is also more hygienic to keep it in its own compartment.

@icelandia: awesome! Did you just cut a slit in your underwear and stick the packer in there? Or did you cut two slits and weaved the packer between them? I'm trying to figure out which method would work best for my preferences D:

Right now I have the SpareParts briefs and I'm just not a brief boi so I mainly just pack with some tight boxer briefs. If I had the SpareParts trunks I would probably prefer them.

I used a velcro top pouch for several years to keep things where they belong. A U shaped pouch with a hole for the shaft and a strip of velcro on top to stick it to the band of my underwear.

Unfortunately, I haven't yet been able to afford springing for packing underwear, and the idea of ponying up money for a couple elastic straps that, had I the willingness to invest the time for it, could easily be sewn together. Hell, I think I've got some spare elastic from my last chance encounter with cosplaying just in the other room.
But I'd be a lot more comfortable with packing underwear, I believe, especially since all my run-ins with packing so far have been with either socks or a Mr. Bendy (which I don't think is available at EF? I'll have to check sometime). And for all of those, I've really just tucked it into whatever underwear I already owned, snaking it in that in-between pocket, maybe safety-pining it shut when ABSOLUTELY necessary (which was rare). Having a separate strap, or fancy underwear for it, until you take the jump for a more refined packer, would just seem a waste to me.

I'd say get both but if you like to have minimal under clothing items (I personally can't stand binding because it's a constant reminder of my chest, much like I hate straps 'cause it's a constant reminder of my lack of penis)
If you don't mind feeling wrapped up then go for the cheaper option for now and save up for the Spareparts underwear?

I don't really like the idea of packing underwear, I'd want like 7 pairs if I was just going to use those. But, I tend to not like how packers sit in them, I'm much happier with a strap that I can adjust more freely, and wear any underwear I want, and it doesn't need to be washed as often.

I've tried some straps for review purposes and some of them seem like they'd be okay BUT... I prefer packing underwear. This is mostly because I don't like to go without underwear so if I use a strap then I have to put underwear on over it which is rarely comfy enough for me to handle for long periods of time.
I usually just use men's briefs with the pouch in the front or boxer-briefs with no opening. Super effective and way cheaper than buying underwear specifically for packing.
I am getting ready to review the Packer Gear Boxer Harness though as I would like to have a pair around that allow me to easy pack and play.
