Should Eden carry binders? (You know, THAT kind.)

Contributor: GONE! GONE!
For those who don't know, binders are what many trans guys wear to give themselves a more masculine chest appearance. I've noticed that some similar stores (Like Babeland.) carry them and I personally think it would be great if this site did too. Why do I think it's a good idea?
1. As someone who is a part of other trans communities, I see that a lot of young trans guys don't know where to get one. It would bring some more business to Eden if they carried even one style, and the discreet packaging here would be perfect for those same young guys who are worried about parents/roommates/anyo ne finding out.
2. The product reviews on other sites where you can get binders are often nonexistent, hard to find, or useless. I know people would upload lovely reviews here, some with photos and videos which would be extra incentive to buy here for me. I hate having to search high and low for other people's experiences with certain binders!
3. There are already multiple packers for sale here, why not add binders so people can get both at once? That would be awesome and convenient.

That would be nice, not sure if EF would do it just because its not really a sex toy? Or would they go for the idea? I'm not sure.. would def be discreet though.

I personally own a few breast binders. (My breasts aren't big to begin with.) I don't live the life style, I still dress as a girl mainly. I just like to be male looking sometimes. I don't know, i'm confused maybe?

Anyway. It would be nice, I wonder what eden has to say?

Yeah not technically, but one could argue that they make some people feel better in the bedroom too.
(Oh and I still do that too sometimes... I like to bind under really frilly dresses haha.)

I would be very happy to see binders sold on EF! Plenty of things sold here aren't sex toys—nonsexual body care products and lingerie are only vaguely related as far as I'm concerned (I don't care for lingerie). Eden would be a great safe resource for trans folk who could really benefit from the community aspects of the site!

I'd be interested to buy one as well. I've always wanted one but was too uncertain for all the reasons listed in the original post. If they were featured here I'd have no choice but to finally try one out! Hear that, Eden Fantasys? $$$$

That is an awesome idea! I think there would be many buyers, and the Points Program would be really helpful incentive for the younger and/or less-fortunate guys, of which there are many.

I'm not sure how Mr Limpy would count as a sex toy but binders wouldn't.
I think this is a great idea and I would SO buy one. Or several, depending.

I voted yes, but the only ones worth their salt for larger chests are Underworks, of the ones I'm familiar with (their packaging is also totally discreet - just throwing it out there since EF currently doesn't sell any in case anyone's looking).

Yeah I was thinking Underworks might be the one to go with. It would be nice if they could get a model from Les Love Boat too since they are apparently better for people who are quite small (Who can sometimes have problems with binders too.) but I have never seen any site other their own site selling that brand.

That's a great idea! It wouldn't benefit me at all but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see binders available for other people.

I think that anything that is going to help people feel better about themselves or their sexuality would be a great product for EF to carry.

I would LOVE it if EF carried binders. Packers do not have to function as sex toys, and certainly EF carries a great deal of other products that are not sex toys. (Also, some people won't have sex without a binder on).

Fantastic idea, and even though it's not a "sex toy," EF carries a lot of lingerie as well. So I think binders will fit very well into EF's current catalog. I also think EF should carry things for MTFs as well as FTMs, and other products along the gender spectrum.

I agree on the reviews, EF is a great site for user reviews, and a lot of people would certainly benefit from reading them and learning about products.

You can also post your inquiry into this thread:

That's the ultimate list of things EF should carry, month by month.

If EF wanted to court the MTF market, tucking gaffs, padded shorts, enhancing bras, and breastforms I think would fit well and hit different parts of the market from low-budget to luxury (breastforms can be really damn expensive) as well as everyone from casual cross-dressing to lifestyle.

I'm not sure how that would work out, and how much traffic EF would get and how to go about attracting interest, but I think the sex-positive community and web-site design would be very appealing to lots of people who might feel excluded elsewhere.

It may not be a sex toy, but it would definitely be something that would appeal to FtM people, and given EF already carries some packing dildos I don't see why not.

If you think about it, it could be considered like a sex toy. They have packers which are usually only used to mke in look like you have a bulge. In sexual play where a woman wants to feel more like a man, she gets the packer but she can also use the binder to help play the roll better. most skinny guys dont have boobs haha so you actually could consider it like a sex toy for some people. like a costume.

But yes, in my oppinion, I think they would make a lot more money and it would help benifit the transgendered community. And for the guys, they should come out with the vagina thing. Its a packer for guys. I seen it on another website, though they are expensive, might as well add it.

I already posted in the other thread about this but yes, EF should carry binders. If you're interested I actually wrote up a detailed review of the Underworks 983 on my review blog. If EF can do things to make their customer base expand and increase their profits - they should - and carrying binders would do that.

Most trans* guys I know these days are over on Tumblr and that's where they get info about binders and the big brother used binder program.

I would certainly love to see this. It's hard for lots of trans* guys to get binders safely and easily. My bf ordered one and had to wait weeks because it was coming from Asia and then got questioned by his dad because it was strange looking package and not a box. I was surprised to see that they carry packers but no binders. I was planning on buying some and doing reviews!

If I could afford one, I would definitely get one here. I'm not FtM, but I do some gender-bending with my sub, and he really wants to see me go fully male.

Also, I have a close friend who is FtM, and he has a devil of a time finding good binders.
