I can see that swinging wildly one way or the other, but I think it might give newer members more incentive to try and be more active.

Yeah, those are good ideas. Especially the helpful one. Like even make a forum post (or email to Gary) about help that a member gave you and nominate them for like the monthly good helper or something. And tell why they were helpful of course. And then the staff could pick from the nominations! Good ideas!

I think a committee sounds nice. How would you chose the committee though?

Submitting an essay on why you should be apart of the committee? or maybe the Staff can pick out a group they feel would make good, and unbiased nomination and votes?

Well, it's just about 8 here in my timezone. Thank you everyone for hanging out and brainstorming! Please keep thinking about the ideas that we discussed and add any further thoughts to this thread.

I will be posting the Halloween contest tomorrow.

Well good night everyone. I am gonna finish up here at the office, and then Victoria and I have a 2 hour drive back to Philly (that may include a stop off at the extremely overpriced rest stop on the turn pike).

I think that's a big difference between the rumble and round up and this. This one would be more based on an over all community activity, which is pretty cool.
