Halloween. I like the decorations, and the costumes, and candy, and autumn.

Halloween. Christmas used to be. But my high passion for Christmas died when my gram died 4 days after last year. Still love it, but for a while it's going to be more painful than happy.

Halloween if you mean just for fun. But spiritually I get the most out of Yom Kippur.

Ouch...what a nutcase I am today. I just clicked Thanksgiving, which I do love.I love to cook, have family and friends over. Have the house smell and look amazing..etc. However, my fav is V day. Come on, a holiday devoted to "love, sex and chocolate"? Who on earth could ask for more?

It is a great month. Up north, I used to love powder sugar doughnuts and hot apple cider. Oh yum. No such thing to be had in the "sunny south".

Do they do it at all in Australia? I never thought about it being an "American thing". How about other nations? Even Canada? Do they make a big deal of "trick or treat"?
