I'll probably be the only person to vote for "fruit cake" as one of them, lol! That is GERMAN fruit cake though (Stollen), not American fruit cake which deserves it's unsavory reputation, to say the least, blech! Stollen is more like fruit bread with powdered sugar and a filling inside. Yuuum!

Along with that, most German Christmas treats like Lebkuchen (gingerbread), and European chocolates along with a healthy serving of eggnog, to me, just tastes like Christmas.

I've always wanted to enjoy fudge around Christmas time, though, but the way it's prepared is just much too sweet for me.

Sugar cookies either with or without frosting and eggnog. Sigel's is fudge and Arch's is anything chocolate or peppermint.
