When I think "comfort food," I think greasy - fried chicken, that kind of thing.

I'll happily be comforted by any of your choices, though!

I don't comfort eat. I will have a small piece of dark chocolate after dinner, munch on a few chips or some nuts when I'm hungry between meals, and occasionally have a small serving of my favorite ice cream for dessert.

I would call this more junk food than comfort food (minus the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese) but I like most of these.

It depends on my mood, but I usually gravitate toward salty treats like fries and chips.

Sweets are generally my go-to comfort food (including ice cream) but if I'm really hungry and need comfort, Mac and Cheese!

All of the above! I tend to prefer more salty/savory as comfort food over sweet, but I do enjoy those as well.

Though I definitely love sweets, they really aren't a comfort food. Carb-heavy things like mashed potatoes and homemade bread as well as home-style cooking (mac&cheese, meatloaf and this cream soups, for example) definitely make me feel better. I'm not a big fan of pasta in general, but fresh pasta with a homemade alfredo always makes me feel better because of my Italian ex, who used to make it for me when he'd visit.
