We've been doing enchiladas for the last three years. Used to get Chinese when we lived in DC and NY primarily because they were open.

My husband and I do this. My family tends to get a little out of control on Holidays so I opt for a drama free approach. Sad, but true. :/

Hmm...never. Normally we don't make a big deal about Christmas eve dinner, because we're just all gonna be stuffed the next day.

I'd love to do that myself, but I don't think my parents would permit it during a family dinner. Dammit. I love me some good Chinese food...

Christmas eve when I was a kid was a day to rest before Midnight Mass and present opening. We did sometimes get chinese food but we would also get pizza or burgers. On Christmas day we would have a big dinner.

Now a days we celebrate the Solstice more often than not but if Arch is here or we are in Canada we will have a nice dinner both nights...cause it's a special thing, ya know?

We celebrate on Christmas Eve...no chinese for us, just delicious home-cooked birds and piggies!

Never! We do a small dinner, then family gifts and a house party at my grandparent's house, and come home late at night for appetizers and gift exchange with our immediate family.

Not every year, but sometimes. We even got some on Christmas day a couple years ago, I wasn't feeling well and putzed around all day instead of putting the ham in early enough.
