We don't do ham for Easter... for Christmas either, actually. Guess we just don't really like ham very much.

I like ham, but my husband and son can take it or leave it, so I kind of follow the tradition and serve ham steak for brunch only.

It honestly depends, this year we all picked something different.

I love ham, but Easter dinner is different every year. Just depends on what everyone wants.

In my country lamb is considered Easter food. Ham not so much. We save that for Christmas.

Some years we do ham, and others turkey. It depends on who's cooking

Your poll made me laugh. But yes we usually have a ham- and we are this year. I'm not too fond of meat though. If I think about it too much I cannot eat meat. Lately it's been bothering me.

I eat ham all the time, Easter is just an occasion.

I don't remember eating much ham growing up, for holidays it was mostly turkey, chicken, or steak (my grandfather grilled that for every holiday until his dementia was so bad that he couldn't even be trusted with a microwave). When I went vegetarian, my family thankfully started adapting to make our meals less meat-centric!

Piggy meats make me feel uneasy. I blame Grandpa and his lies... I know the white stuff is fat and not veins, but it's still in the back of my head..

We do lamb. We don't do ham at Christmas either. Italian/Sicilian family, so it's mostly seafood and pasta for Christmas dinner.

I make a medium sized ham (shank, bone in) and a medium sized turkey. Easter is the one holiday we have both.

We usually don't do ham or turkey except on Christmas and Thanksgiving. I like ham, but we cook other things. I've been making this HUGE bunnny cake (with a body AND head AND ears! Lol) since I was a kid and every Easter, it's become a tradition. It takes forever because I have to bake 3 cakes in a round pan. I cut a bow tie and two huge ears out of one cake and the other is the head, the last his body. Always a strawberry cake! I add coconut to make him look furry, but sometimes I'll just make my own strawberry icing with real strawberries and powdered sugar. That is the best icing! I love it. I'll be making him tomorrow Then someone usually brings potatoe salad (my grandmother) and cookies, and the normal stuff like that. We have a lot of kids in my family so Easter is always a big and very fun day

Of all the "holiday meats" ham is definitely my favorite. Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, I can't seem to get enough.

This one struck us kind of funny...since we know Jews and Muslims...who don't celebrate Easter, don't do "ham". However, to NOT do Easter, I guess could mean all kinds of different faiths or none at all. Liking Ham would be a completely unrelated issue..if not for the "dietary" laws.

I'm making chicken alfredo with salad. I don't really like to do ham, it's too salty for the hubby's high blood pressure.
