It's only Monday of Thanksgiving week, and I'm already cooking! How about you?

I made Pumpkin and Sweet Butternut Soup today. Also some roasted chestnut, cranberry cookies. Those will all stay fine in the freezer till Thursday!

I just show up. I've tried helping before, but my stepmom gets really jealous if anyone else tries to cook anything. I guess she just feels insecure about someone possibly making something better than she does.

All the 'big' dishes are being handled by others and I'm on the fence about whether or not I feel the need to provide sides.

Yep. We had a party yesterday for Thanksgiving and cooked. Mostly it was my mom cooking and me and my sister putting together my neice's little kitchen. But we'll do another Thanksgiving party on Thanksgiving day too! I LOVE Thanksgiving. Sometimes we have 3 Thanksgiving parties. LOL

It's Tuesday, now. And I haven't started cooking anything. I'm not the main cook, and will only be contributing a single item. :I But I may not even get to enjoy turkey day. 'Gettin' surgery for a hernia this afternoon.
