Get a sexy outfit for her, skip the spa, and get a nice massage oil or massage candle, and treat her to a nice, long, full body massage, complete with a happy ending.

From my lovie, I personally wouldn't really want either of those, especially a spa gift card. Does she really, really love the spa or something? I'm just not too interested in spas, but it's the thought that counts.

My lovie got me a camera for Christmas. Last year a Kindle Fire and the year before a laptop. But before all those amazing items, he bought me clothing and things. However, I would want to be the one picking out the outfit, unless it's something he already knew I loved and wanted. But then again, he's came home many, many times with gorgeous clothing for me -- he SO knows my style. So if that's the case between you two and you know of a nice outfit she already really wants, that'd be fine I'm sure. Same with the spa, if she just really loves the spa.

I personally don't really care for getting gifts and always try to talk my lovie out of it, but he has definitely blown my mind with some of them like the camera this year, which I'm still just in awe over. But you guys are on a spending limit, maybe you could try to shop at places like TJ MAXX, you could go there and get her a designer purse & a kick-ass outfit and likely still have $ left. That is where we do a lot of shopping. There's also similar places like Ross & Marshall's, if you guys have those.

I just don't think I'd want a sexy outfit for Christmas, and definitely not one my partner picked out. Wouldn't that kind of be a HIS gift, anyway? For me, I'd be a little surprised since I'm not used to him buying me sexy lingerie -- I pick it out myself and prefer it that way. Maybe if she really wants lingerie and you let her give you a list of perhaps 3 sexy outfits she'd want, and then surprise her with one.

If it's between lingerie and a spa giftcard, I'd go with a spa gift card. Lingerie is amazing and all, and I can't speak for every female, but it's not something I want as a gift from my partner. The spa gift on the other hand would be strictly a gift for her, something she could use and spend the day to relax and do whatever it is they do at spas. If you're talking outfit that's not just for sex though, I might would go that route instead. It's just hard to say, not knowing your wife's prefs and all. Some women like lingerie as gifts I'm sure, some would adore a spa gift card, and then some are ecstatic when you surprise them with electronics. This is a tough one.

See this to me would be a surprise "gift" to give on a day that's not special. Something to show your partner extra love/attention. On a birthday or Christmas, I think a spa would be a nice way to de-stress. You can massage her and have her put on lingerie any time of the year, but Christmas could be a little more unique, in my opinion. You could even take her somewhere really beautiful (live around any mountains or something equally as pretty?) and surprise her with something special.

I'm not a spa person, so an outfit would be my preference

A spa if she's into that sort of thing. I like spas, but not enough to make time to go. My husband bought me a certificate, like, three years ago that's never been used. X.x I like the spa and all, but I just never got around to it.

I'd pick that over an outfit though because sizing is a pain and it's usually better to pick out your own clothes. I know the times my husband shows me things he'd like more than half of them wouldn't look good on my body type at all.

Spa, that would be my choice.

I would go with the spa gift certificate (I might be biased though since I work at one)

I know I personally like picking out my own outfits, my partner always picks unflattering ones. Maybe you have better taste though

Also you might take into account what she has already. If she already has a few sexy outfits, then she may not need another.

spa. Or another option do the spa treatment yourself and get her the outfit too. So get some massage oil, and give her a full body massage, paint her toes for her, file her nails. Do it all yourself. Very personal so probably she would really like it

I would say a sexy outfit is more of a gift for you (wink wink). If you really wanna make her happy, go for the spa!

I always prefer cash, or a more generalized gift card, like a prepaid visa. A day at the spa is good, too, though.

There's nothing wrong with having a personalized spa day from your SO. I for one, would love it.

Personally, I like to pick my own outfits...dunno if I'd like one my husband picked out, so I'd rather have a spa day.

If those are the choices, I'd choose the spa as a gift. A sexy outfit, to receive one would seem a little silly to me- after all, if it's a bedroom outfit, her dressing up would likely be for your benefit. Where as a spa you two could enjoy together.
