Growing up, we always opened gifts on Christmas Eve at my grandparents house and at our house on Christmas day. We now just open gifts on Christmas day here.

I feel like we open gifts earlier and earlier every year. We opened ours on the 21st because we couldn't wait to give everyone their gifts this year. Whoops.

Both! We have 2+ Christmas parties (sometimes one at my house and sometimes 2 at my house. This year 2 here and another at my grandmothers, and one which was tonight at my partner's dad's.) So we open gifts at least 2-3 times since we have multiple Christmas parties. WE always do one on Christmas eve, but not always on Christmas day, but some years like this year, we do one at my house on Christmas day, one here on Christmas eve and later at my grandmother's on Christmas day. I love having a big Christmas! It means we get to see all our family more than just on one day.

usually on christmas day but we try to make a day that everyone can get together since the kids are older and have SO's that have family events to attend.

When I was younger we would always open one present on Christmas eve and the rest when we woke up on Christmas Day Definitely miss those days.

We do both. Christmas Eve is with the entire family. Then Christmas Day is just immediate family.
