I did some news interview with my mom a long time ago. I think I was maybe 9 or 10 at the time. I've never been on a TV show or anything though.

Well it wouldn't have to be some reality show. Shows like Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy count, too.

I was on a panel on the stage on Oprah many years ago.

They sent a limo to the house to get me and my husband and my best friend and our baby we were taking with us. My husband stayed in the Green Room with the baby while I was on the panel.

It was about Child Care.

We didn't get to meet Oprah individually or anything, she just shook our hands and gave us a fake smile and, honestly, I wasn't that impressed with what I saw from her.

I got the impression she really doesn't like children, nor women who put their kids first and/or take their time to raise them themselves. JMO.

I don't think the two or three times I was on Bozo when I was a really little kid count. My cousin got to play the Grand Prize Game, on one of the shows, but I just sat there and looked at the camera when we had the "parade" on the way out of that tiny little raggy studio.

It was really a pathetic place. About the size of a large basement.

My few and insignificant brushes with television did not impress me about the medium in the least.

I was on a fund raiser for Public television. Our school play was also televised on public access.

It wasn't anything spectacular. There was this local TV station that would play the high school football games (along with random other locally-done bits). Sometimes, they would have a slideshow of random stills from all the things the channel aired throughout the week. I happened to be watching when pictures of the marching band started flashing across the screen. I was in marching band and one of the stills had me, dead-centre.
