Do you have a favorite fairy tale now as an adult? What was your favorite as a child? I love all kinds of fairy tales. I'm interested in the ORIGINAL tales and how they differ from the modernized, Disney (and Disney-like) stories. For example, The Little Mermaid was a lot more morbid than Disney's in a BUNCH of ways.

I like the old ones better. I have the complete fairy tales. My favorite is Jorinda and Joringel. My book is so old and used it's falling apart. I can't really read it anymore unless I am very careful.
