I'm a big fand of the Star Trek series, but I also LOVE the x-files ans well as Futurama.
Dose Twin Peaks count as sci-fi? because that series gets kind of weird and reminds me a lot of the X-files toward the end of the second season.

I will forever maintain that Star Trek Voyager is the best Star Trek (and yes, I have watched them ALL!)

I don't like the more modern Sci Fi (like Galactica), which is more dark and moody...I like my Sci Fi more fun!

Doctor Who and Supernatural. I used to watch Doctor Who years ago as My Man was into it. I hadn't watched in in years, and our kids started talking about "this great new show" starting with Doctor 9, then 10 and 11. We think it's hilarious that our kids found The Doctor on their own.

Supernatural is fun, the boys are fun to look at and it's a blast to suspend reality for an hour a week and just watch this show.

Star Trek, Babylon 5 and Battlestar Gallactica, the original not the new series. I have the Orig Star Trek, Voyager & Babylon 5 all on DVD, do want to get The Next Generation eventually.

Aw crap I accidentally didn't press Firefly. But Doctor Who and Firefly for sure. I feel like it's one of the biggest injustices in the TV realm that Firefly didn't get more than 1 season and a movie.

I love Doctor Who a lot and it's definitely my favorite sci-fi show on TV right now. I just hope Moffat stops and we get a new showrunner because his writing sucks lately and I don't like the show as much anymore since he started overseeing things. I think the one-off episodes he wrote when Russel T Davies was running things were some of my favorites of those seasons but he's crappy at doing a real season-long plot line.

My big problem with this list is... I am a huge Star Wars fan. I know there wasn't a TV series, but that puts my at odds with Star Trek. Don't get me wrong, I think Star Trek is ok... but I am not a huge fan. My favorites on this list were definitely Futurama and Firefly.
