Would Voltaire and Emilie Autumn fit into this poll anywhere? I'm not sure what genre either would belong to, outside the vague "goth" label, but both are insanely good (and Voltaire especially is super fun to listen to).

Does witch house count? I was on a huge Salem kick for a while. Now I'm back into more classic stuff.

I'm a big fan of dark ambient - or ambient in general, really.

I find I prefer bands rather than genres as a whole.

I like a lot of, I guess it's called melodic death metal now. Along the lines of In Flames, Dark Tranq, Children of Bodom.

I like older music. Most of the time it's usually older than me! I guess you can say I like the old school goth music. 80's stuff and darkwave. I'm really particular about the electro/synth stuff because it sounds like techno and I can't stand it. Only if it sounds amazing... which is only sometimes if it has a really unique tune or good lyrics. I really like slower music with good lyrics rather than dance music.

I'm really not into hair falls and cyber goth stuff at all. I'm only 24 and I was born in '88 so the music I listen to is older or just about as old as me. I'm more into the 80's goth style and the Victorian inspired goth style. You know, sexy fancy vampires, long beautiful hair, and black lace and such. I don't like techno or wearing pieces of foam and plastic in my hair. I don't like that stuff and never really have. I'm not into the future, I like the past more. Same for music too! I notice that a lot of young gothlings think that goth is JUST the cybergoth stuff but it's not. There's lots of different categories of goth.

Here's some random music I like: Death In June, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Skinny Puppy, Strawberry Switchblade, Rasputina, Faith & The Muse, ect.
