I'm reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. I bought it a long time ago, but I kept lending it out to people. Every time I'd get it back someone else would want it so it's taken me forever to get to it. So far it's pretty darn good.

I should be reading Laqueur's book on the anti-masturbation panic to get some material for my website.

I'm currently reading:

Cat on the Edge (when on lunch break at work)
The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls
House of Leaves (second attempt - it's a mind-screwy, difficult-to-follow book)
Felidae (re-reading, since it's one of my favorites)

I tend to always be reading at least two books at once, one at work and one at home, and I often read two or three in alternate sittings at home. Sometimes I wonder if I'm crazy.

I am currently reading the first book in Stephen King's Dark Tower series, the first book in the Game of Thrones series, and "Which Brings Me to You" by Steve Almond and Julianna Baggott. (I had never heard of either of the authors of this last book, but it's pretty good so far.)

My advice - don't read it right before you go to sleep. Its the only book that has kept me awake at night.

I just started reading What the Dog Saw by Malcolm Gladwell. His books are just terrific.

I haven't made it terribly far into it yet, although I'll keep that in mind for when I do. I think Cujo was the only book I couldn't finish reading because it freaked me out too much. Granted I was trying to read it when I was like, 8, but still. Never picked it up after that lol.

Dracula had a sleep deprivation effect on my sister in law too. I could sleep after reading Cujo though.
