It's a tie between seeing the Stones in '05 and seeing Ringo Starr in '06!

Rush, with Primus as the opening band. Just unbelievable performances from both acts.

That same year, I saw the second Lollapalooza, with Red Hot Chili Peppers as the final act. That would probably be my second favorite.

You'd have been 3 or 4 at the time of the show, so I don't know if you'd have enjoyed it!

I'd heard only a couple of Primus songs before the show and I was concerned that Rush might be too old and not able to really rock. Wow--what a surprise on both counts. Primus played and they were just unbelievably GOOD (musically and in showmanship) and I remember thinking that there was no way Rush could be half as good--and then Rush came out and were somehow even better than Primus, partly because they played for 90 minutes versus Primus's 30 or so, but also because of the tightness and chemistry from a lifetime of playing together.

I've seen several other good shows (Springsteen, the Grateful Dead, Southern Culture on the Skids...) but that one was easily the best.

Gogol Bordello had a show in my city and my friend wanted me to go with her, but I passed because I hadn't listened to him much at that point, and now I regret not going!

My favorite concert has to be a couple of the Blues Traveler shows I've been to.. I can't even pick one favorite.

I've only been to two. Lady Gaga and Blink-182. They were both a lot of fun but I'd have to choose Gaga. It was such a blast.

Saw Flogging Molly at the Fox in Oakland just last year, wasn't expecting to get crushed but managed to get to the front and made it out with just a lot of bruises.

I have been to a lot of shows so it is hard to narrow it down to just one. So my top three are Paul McCartney, The Tragically Hip and Awolnation.
