I have always watched the Wizard of Oz for thanksgiving when I was growing up and still do with my kids. How many of you have/do too?

Wish there was a other. I try to catch it when it is on. Or if I know it is on I will tune into my favorite scenes then change it.

I've seen it before, but I don't think of it as having a connection with any particular holiday.

No, unless it was on TV. I did see a great spinoff that was like a few different parts, but it told a story of how Dorothy came to live with the people on the farm it was really good idk if you have seen it. I would recommend it though!

Yes, it's a favorite of my family's. I also own the DVD, which we watch sometimes. I was also jazzed to see it on the big screen at a local theater last year. A little girl even came dressed as Dorothy, it was adorable.

Ummm... Wizard of Oz & Thanksgiving? Lol. I'm missin' something here.

But no, I don't watch anything on Thanksgiving. We usually spend the evening and part of the night at my grandmother's house. Thanksgiving morning usually consists of me making sure I get extra sleep and/or cooking because we have a party at my house too. Whoo hoo. Yipeee! I love Thanksgiving. No TV for us though, except my grandmother's husband watched freakin' football the entire time -- ick. No interest there. Lol.

Other. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Honestly, I rarely have the patience and attention span to sit through an entire movie, lol.

I do sometimes, it just depends on what I'm doing and who's house I'm at. I always watch the Macy's parade though.

Nope. Best thanksgiving movie is Planes, Trains and automobiles, but I don't make a point to watch anything in particular that day.

We always used to watch the wizard of oz at thanksgiving when I was a kid. I don't watch it now that I am an adult, but my grandma always had it on when I was a kid.
