This might be kind of silly, but I thought it would be fun, too. I like cooking for my guy, and having a nice stay at home dinner. He likes to help, but leaves the meal planning to me, because I'm the one who really loves to cook, and to cook for people. I want to try a dinner menu with supposed aphrodisiac dishes, just for the fun of it (and hell, maybe it will really get us going by the time dessert rolls around. Who knows?)
Here's a proposed menu I've thought of:
Fig and arugula salad, topped with pine nuts and parmesan, and dressed with a honey vinaigrette.
Garlic baked salmon (yes, garlic is supposed to make one amorous! Just brush your teeth before you get too intimate...)
Baked asparagus, topped with parmesan and slivered almonds
Chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert
And of course, plenty of wine.
Anybody else know of some good aphrodisiac dinners or recipes?
