maybe. I wanted to go visit Yellowstone. The wife wanted to make the plans, but I don't think she has planed anything at all. So we might just go camping.

We're not planning on any vacation at this point. We're in the process of buying a house, so all our free time this summer is probably going to consist of moving and working on settling into our new home.

We visit my wife's family overseas every other year, and we didn't go last year. That's a plane ride, and we'll probably go on a train trip with her family. I'm going to visit my family down South sometime in the next few weeks. I hope my wife can join me, but right now, it's looking like ongoing work crises are going to keep her here.
But, solo or with her, that'll be a car trip, and will no doubt include some bicycling, likely both road and mountain biking. Yay!

No..I really like traveling to warmer climates when it's winter, but I enjoy where I am in summer. My "summer vacation" usually consists of taking some days off work and doing things in the city or nearby.

Yes, I'll be taking both buses and a train. I'm doing a writing vacation so it's a combo of work and fun.

No, I will be moving at the end of July. We actually went the beginning of May to Myrtle beach. I just wish it was not cold we could barely do anything.

for me, it has nothing to do with the time of year, it all depends on money/friends/availabi lity. I don't do real "vacations" though, mostly just visiting friends or attending gatherings.

I don't know...depends on what you call it. My hubby is going to Georgia to set his log work, I am going to relax. We do use the road trip driving down and back as a vacation, though--so kind of????
