I was raised by an agnostic and a Christian, I identify as Wiccan but do not have any regular "practices" and do not attend a church, nor do I have a coven. I do have a "bible study" group on facebook I attend, where we discuss our favorite passages and such. I own a bible, which I do read, and try to just be a good person overall

Other, I'm not partial to one religion. I attended a Catholic Convent school most of my elementary and part of my high school years, went to mass every week, so I'm familiar with Catholic beliefs. I also attended Christian fellowships when I was a teen. And, I've taken an interest in Tibetan Buddhism some years ago, and has been blessed by a Tibetan Rimpochee. I also believe in Crystal healing.

Nope. I was raised to make my own decisions and choices about spirituality and I've been to Christian church Sunday meetings, Bible Studies and Wed. night sessions. I've taken a humanities course where we studied several of the books in the Bible. I've also researched various Pagan religions.

However, I am currently studying the Buddhist philosophy :3 And hope to incorporate it as a foundation to my future lifestyle.

I can't really decide, though I believe the whole "God created the world" and the whole thing about Adam and Eve may be wrong.
First of all IF Adam and Eve were the only two people (not including Lillith if you believe she was Adam's first mate) God created...then in theory that would make all or almost EVERYONE on the planet related by blood, so we'd all be committing incest which is a sin(Adam and Eve may not have been blood relatives, but their offspring were and we're descended from their offspring supposedly).
And secondly...the bible doesn't mention dinosaurs or other prehistoric creatures directly (though it does have bits about sea serpents and behemoths and such so interpret as you choose), but there's physical proof they existed and as far as we know humans weren't around back then.

I guess my 'religion' is more a collection of my own beliefs, I could best describe it as a mix of Wicca and Christianity but a friend once told me that the core of me beliefs is similar to a branch of Buddhism.

I was raised Lutheran, but I believe in bits and pieces of everything. Religion is a creation of man, which means it's just as flawed as we are. Am I religious? I believe in God and Jesus, if that's what you call religious, but I don't follow the traditions of any given religion.

I am a growing Christian. But I think that applies to all Christians, because you never really stop growing in the Lord.

I've heard there's only 1% of human's DNA that separates them :3 So our DNA is all 99% the exact same except for that one miniscule percentage that separates each of us and makes us unique xD but for DNA 1% is pretty massive e_e

Also, Genesis wasn't a part of the original Bible so it's pretty much a bullshit story that was added by a pope. Yep the things you learn in Religious studies classes heheh

The Bible was just a symbolic history of a people ( the Hebrews) and didn't come into creation until I think Abraham was the first to speak with God and was ordered what to do and how to do it. It wasn't meant to relay the period of time from the start of the Earth until it's end; that's what it's been distorted into by religious men in the past seeking to brainwash and control people with one method of thinking.
You can't look at the bible literally, 98% of it is symbology and the other 2% is probably just some bullshit a pope/monk/priest came up with while re-translating and writing. After all, the whole spiel about the Angels falling is bs because Lucifer was a human King who lost God's favor and was over run by enemy armies

You just can't take something this old that was at first passed down verbally, literally like that. And it's, sadly, what most people seem to try and do :x

I was raised Catholic, albeit very loosely, by two parents whose parents happened to be way more religious than they were. After careful consideration, I have abandoned the religion of my youth in favor of agnosticism.

Raised super Catholic to the point of suffocating me out of religion. I'm currently neither religious nor spiritual, although I would like to look into being a little more spiritual at some point in the future.

I am Christian and I believe in God and "practice" Christianity. I do not consider myself religious though, but spiritual is more like it. I read the bible, try to live right and always, always, always keep myself close to God!

PS. How awesome that there's another Christian here! I haven't met many online in soooo long.

I grew up being taken to church every Sunday. But, after being ridiculed by the church's inhabitants constantly I turned my back on them (not on the religion) when I got into Junior High. Then, Freshman year of High School, I lost all religious thought altogether.

In short: I was at one time; but not in my adult years.

You left out some options that would have been nice. It's also a good idea to make polls like this anonymous. I separate religion and spirituality. I do not subscribe to an organized cultural system (exempli gratia religion), but I consider myself spiritual.
