Tap end filters are now under $50. It works out, bottle for bottle to be far less expensive then using bottled water anyway.

It's the same thing, except tap water ALSO has Chemo drugs, radioactive waste, multiple chemicals leached in which end up in the tap. I will stick with paying those few extra dollars for water bottle or filter quality, thank you.

tap, my town has good tasting water in my opinion! When I travel I drink bottled, though.

We fill reusable bottles (the 3-gallon size with a tap) at the filtered water station at the grocery store. It's $0.24/gallon if you bring your own bottles. Nice compromise between our tap water (which is nasty) and the expense and waste of regular bottled water.

Wow--thank God I do not have to drink city water!!! Yikes!! I love my well and we get it tested every year to make sure nothing has leached in....

***Another bonus for rural, unpopulated areas!!! I would not drink tap water in a bigger city!! Or a town.

I love Eternal Water! It's alkaline, bottled water. It's pretty amazing. I drink it, but if I absolutely don't have any on hand, I'll drink water from my Brita filtering water bottle, which is nice, but the taste and health benefits can't even compare to Eternal Water.

I don't really even have a preference. If I'm at home I'll drink from the tap but if I'm out somewhere sometimes all you can do is pay a bottle of water. I'd rather not waste plastic if I don't have to and to me all water really tastes except some really bad city water.

Both. Usually tap through a bottle filter because the water at school tastes awful.
