Crushed ice, when I can get my hands on some or if we had a blender. Cubes I usually just drink the drink and it winds up all watery and gross, but when I use crushed ice I tend to eat the drink like a slushie so it doesn't wind up all watery.
Plus, who doesn't like a good slushie? x3

Technically and scientifically speaking, the "surface area" of crushed ice is much larger and, therefore, will dilutes a alcoholic beverage faster (which you do not want to happen). So when you order a drink in a pub, they use ice cubes instead of cruched ice.

In the case of soft drinks at McDonalds or Burger King, they usually use cruched ice (or really small ice cubes that look to me like crushed ice) that doesn't make much difference and actually makes the drink colder.

Crushed is my favorite. We bought an ice shaver a while back because we both love crushed ice so much. Nom! But, we tend to not make crushed cubes as much as we just use solid cubes because they take time to make, and if we're in a rush we're way more likely to just grab a cube.

I was hoping the ice was going o e or another purpose but when it oes to beverages unless they are warm and supposed to be cold I leve the ice out- t takes me so long to drink that it ends up too watered down.

I have been known to drive to Sonic just to get a drink with the teeny tiny ice they use....and I always ask for an extra cup of ice...I'm sure they love me for that...
