Before I got pregnant I would drink 2 pots of coffee a day. That got tossed out the window in a hurry by the doc when they told me I was having a baby. She suggested I switch to tea.
That was 12 years or so back and I am hooked on it. I have 2 HUGE cups of tea every morning.
I do have 1 coffee the days that I work. I grab it on the way in. I never make it at home though.

I drink about 3 cups of coffee a day. I really should cut back and make some of those cups tea....

I like them both, but I drink more tea than coffee because it's faster and I can just make one cup.

Milk is my go-to for breakfast when at home. But when I'm out, I never order it. I hate semi-warm milk, especially out of a carton that makes it taste like cardboard. So then I order tea.
The exception is steamed milk with a shot of peppermint! Ohhhh so niiiice. But tea is excellent with some quality honey too.
...Now I'm thirsty.

Yet I remember staying up with friends (years ago) drinking coffee with no problem at midnight and then coming home and crashing.

Coffee is too harsh for my stomach first thing, so I start off with tea to get a boost of energy. I usually switch to coffee around midmorning, but I don't need to have it every day. Although, once I start to think about it, I get a craving. Kind of like right now.

Skim milk straight (my family thinks I'm insane; whole milk looks like clotted cream to me), no-sugar-added juices (usually cranberry), and water.
I buy loose teas at the local tea shop and steep them in a little pot that drains the tea out of the bottom when placed over another cup. The ladies at the tea shop claim I'm an Englishwoman in denial with all the tea I get and drink, although I don't put sugar or milk (or even lemon) in my tea. I prefer my tea straight, as I believe milk and sugar masks the taste of the tea.
Oh, and despite living in the south, I like my iced tea UNsweetened. You will not believe the amount of dirty looks I get when I order it.

I have always hated coffee but recently my Red Bull situation was getting out of control, so I made the switch. So far, so good. I can't fuck with milk or sugar in it, though. Or flavors. I gotta just do regs.

I can't have caffeine, so I drink mainly herbal teas. I never liked the taste of coffee, though I love the smell.
