I only need my glasses for driving right now. When my eyes get bad enough I'm getting Lasik.

I wear contacts, but I think glasses are really sexy on other people! It's just that I am legally blind without glasses, and so I need glasses to find my glasses in the morning. I also have a really prominent nasal bone (so ugly!) and glasses tend to irritate it!

I switch between wearing glasses and contacts. My current pair of glasses have a prescription that's 2 years old, so I can't wear them while driving.

I really, really hate glasses. Not their looks, since the right pair can be amazing to accentuate facial features, but their actual functioning.
You know those unfortunate souls whose glasses are as thick as the bottom of a glass coke bottle? Yeah, that's me. My vision extends to about 4 inches in front of my nose. Anything past that is just a blur and a color.
I've worn contacts for 7 years or so, and love them to pieces. The most aggravating bit was training my eyes to all the prodding while I learned how to properly insert the lenses.

I'm nearsighted, and can actually get around all right without my spectacles (I love calling them that), but anything more than two or three feet from my face starts to get blurry. Letters, fine details, and small objects are hard/impossible to see at a distance.
I can't sit still during a certain part of an optical exam (at least at some places - other places use an eye puffer as opposed to that little-blue-light-that -gets-uncomfortably-cl ose-to-your-eyes), so I can't imagine putting contacts in. Plus there's a lot more care involved with them, and if one slips out of place, you pretty much have to drop everything and readjust it.
I used to hate my glasses when I was younger and insisted on having thin, discreet frames. Now I love wearing them, and have thick, black plastic frames that look awesome! My only complaint is that they slide down my nose a lot, but it's nothing I can't live with. Besides, I'm prone to falling asleep semi-randomly, and glasses are easier to remove for sleep than contacts.

I usually go to America's Best eyewear and contacts every couple of years and get two pairs of new glasses. I have horrible vision so I really gotta keep on top of things.
I have a box of daily wear contacts that I wear every once in awhile. Bf likes my glasses though... says I remind him of a sexy librarian. 8 )
And YES... I would totally get Lasik!!! But for me it would be like $5k. = (

i wear circle lenses which are colored contacts from south korea! they work great, and look cool. My current pair of glasses are absolutely not cute so I dont wear them much

I wear contacts most of the day and always in public and glasses in the morning and at night or if I'm just lounging around all day. I think I can see better with contacts since they are closer to the retina and you can be more mobile with them.

I used to wear glasses but 5 years ago I decided to try contacts and loved them, no longer constantly seeing the rims, or having to clean them. I find contacts very comfortable (unless I get something under them). But in the end I find it a bit of a pain dealing with them twice a day every day, so once my prescription stops changing I will get the surgery.

I wore glasses from second grade up to high school and then had contacts during high school. Now I always wear glasses I have a couple pair so I can change it up if I want.
