No, I don't see a reason why I would need to. Maybe for certain jobs it would be handy, but other than that it seems unnecessary

Nope, but I have one around here somewhere. At work I have a box cutter, and I usually have a box cutter and a few exacto knives in with the rest of my art supplies when I'm at school.

Yeah, I do. There's a knife in my leatherman/multi-tool and I use some part of the tool almost every day, so I'd be lost without it. When I was working in retail I also always had a box cutter with me all the time.

My fiance does. He worked as a handyman for a long time, and even though right now he's in school/data work, he still carries it everywhere!

Well not a pocket knife but I did have a standard thin little box cutter, I keep that and a lighter in my purse. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. *shrugs* But the area I live in is pretty safe and well lit so I don't use it for protection.

I don't know what kind my knife is. It's pretty though! Lol. It's a multi-colored irridescent little thing and it's so pretty.
Am I lost without my knife or taser? No. Absolutely not. I usually ain't even around where danger is really a big thing to worry about, but these days, I tend to be a little timid. But I'm not lost without my weapons. I just feel safer with them because to be honest, I'm really not that strong. I probably wouldn't be able to even push someone off of me if they were to attack me. Of course self-defense classes would add to my safety, but we don't have that type of thing near me.

No. I did when I was a kid. My uncle said it was something a gentleman should always carry, along with a handkerchief and a lighter.
I do keep a mini leatherman knockoff in my briefcase, along with a "CIA letter opener" (hard plastic knife) and an AG Russell Sting (small combat/throwing knife). I've been thinking of adding a taser or bear spray. I'm still somewhat paranoid about safety after someone tried to mug me many years ago, even though I was unarmed and still managed to fend them off with no harm or loss.

Depends on where I may be going, and how late at night it will be. If I'm with friends, then not really. But I rarely go out on night outings.

Almost every day. It's a Benchmade. I don't like to leave the house with it. I flipped my car once and was able to cut myself out of my seat belt.

I used to have a nice Case knife but I lost it. Lousy pockets If I had better pockets I'd carry a pocketknife all the time. Maybe when I get my next job and I get a wardrobe upgrade... it's always good to have a cutting tool with you.
