Do you have children?

I have children (10 and 14) and I worry about them finding my adult items. I keep them under my bed but, need to invest in a locked box.

I have two kids, an adult daughter that lives in a different state, and a seventeen years old son who lives with us. My son doesn't like to snoop around, I only keep my toys in clear plastic drawers in my walk-in closet, and I've never worried about him seeing them.

I have a 12 yr old boy and a 19 month old baby. So far my son has not found anything, but I am investing in all the storage items I can now. So far my daughter has been in my Eden tote bag that I have lingerie stored in because I had it on the floor. with her hands I have to put things up.

I have two boys 3 and 1, no worries yet, but when it is time we will just tell them stay out of there. If they do find them, they will know what they are and most likely be disturbed they found mom's dildos.

I have three children and I don't worry too much about them finding my toys and stuff. I stay away from totally anatomically correct toys and it is so low key that they don't pay much attention.

I don't have children and don't plan on ever having any.

At least, not of the human variety.

Our son is almost two and we have a daughter due in the next few months. After that I imaging we'll be done for a few years, at least until we have some more space. (We currently share a 3/2 with my husbands parents, since they're both legally blind and his father is disabled from years of military service.)

As far as hiding my toys, it's not the kids I worry about, but my in-laws!

I have the IUD, have had it since 2004. We are done having children, I need to have my tubes tied. I think it's wonderful that you would want to adopt if you decide to have children.

I have my extra Eden towels stored in my tote bag. I didn't think it would be secure enough to store toys, I just opted to store items I don't mind my kids seeing.

I remember the first time that I found my mothers dildo. I was mortified, lol! We shared a dresser at the time and I ended up in her drawer. I think that I was around my sons age (14).

I introduced Eden to my mother awhile back, she loves it. Now, she doesn't really have to worry about anyone finding her items. Then again, she's pretty open about it.

My husband and I have three children. Two are considered legally adults. One of them lives on her own, with her partner out of state, the other lives with us while working and going to Grad School (can I say it enough? I'm SO proud of that girl!) and we have one in middle school. (Proud of her, too. Very smart little girl.)

I don't worry about my toys. I show my children respect by not snooping through their stuff. So, they know not to go through my and their father's things. We keep our toys in a Devine Toy Chest, in a locking box (rarely locked) and in Sugar Sacs in the Captain's Drawers of our water bed. Our Wahl is in a Make Up bag under my nightstand. I actually have stuff all over the bedroom, but out of sight. Our lubes, cleaning sprays and foams and wipes are in cubbies in our water bed. Our kids respect our privacy, so I don't worry. Most kids over the age of 4 or so should know to respect your privacy as long as you respect theirs.

Congrats on your baby on the way! Our first two were 2 years apart and although it was hard work, they were good buddies. It was years before the youngest was then born.... we thought we were done before I got pregnant with her. But, we're so glad she decided to come into our lives. In some ways I also wish we had had an other one 2 years after her, because she's almost like an only child. I was an only child, and it was lonely as hell. But, she got undivided attention that the other two never got. There's perks to many ways to space your kids.

Sorry about your in-laws. That doesn't sound like any fun.

Exactly this. My kids are 4 and 6. We have set up ground rules that state that you must knock and wait for a reply to go into Mommy and Daddy's room. They seem to understand that and respect that very well.

I don't have children as yet but I understand your concern. Right now, my concern is friends visiting and being noisy. The bathroom is off the bedroom which always makes me uneasy when a guest uses it. I try to put things away, most times, but I know I have missed some.
Actually if they asked, some have, I would show them some of my toys. Its the snarky snoops that annoy me.
