I really don't want to spend the extra money to get one, but certain phones I've had, I've tossed around and others, I've wanted to keep in pristine condition for as long as possible. Do you have a cover for your phone?

Yes, I own a hard cover for my iPhone. I would be freaking out about getting it scratched if I didn't have the cover!

Yeah, I own a case, as of today actually. I refused to use one... til I got my phone run over a few days ago. Now I'll probably always use it. Just in case.

I have a phone case for my Iphone and a screen protector. I love my phone and it is the first phone I ever bought. (all my previous phones were the free phones you get with an upgrade) I take the best care I can of it.

Something most people don't know, but when you go buy a new phone on contract you can bargain with them. You can ALWAYS get a free cover, bluetooth earpiece, and car charger if you just bargain with the person for a bit.
The people most of the time get commission, or at least have sales quotas. Things like chargers and ESPECIALLY phone covers cost nothing to make. That molded piece of plastic costs less than a buck to make.
Next time you guys go to get a new phone, try and bargain it won't hurt. Over the years I've never failed to get a free cover or charger(and most of the time more) especially when I've signed a contract.

Yup! My last couple of phones got so scratched up, I have a cover for my phone now. Even though it's supposed to be scratch resistant.

I just bought my first phone cover for my new phone about three weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was broken when I got it. I got a refund, but I didn't have to return it. A chunk of plastic is broken off and their is a crack in it, but it still works okay.

It's just a blackberry and doesn't have a touch screen or anything, so its not that delicate.
All the same, it got beat up a LOT more quickly once I stopped using the cover. I can't wait to get it replaced.
I think a cover is a good investment for most smart phones, just because whatever the phone, it's going to be much more expensive than the case, and regardless the case will keep your phone in better shape. Many of my friends sell their old phones and electronics online, and having a case on it to protect it allows them to get more for their stuff because it's in good shape even though it's old.
If you have a touchscreen phone with a really big screen that's thin and or has lots of glass or plastic surrounding, a good sturdy case is a MUST. You WILL crush/shatter the screen and surrounding case without it. Do not wait until it's too late.

I did have one for my phone but it broke. I am so rough with my phones, they do tend to fall apart easily if I don't use one! I don't have one right now!

I have a Rugby II, which is made to survive. I believe the salesman actually said something about it being made for construction workers! lol
Anyway, I don't use a case of any sort, and this phone has STILL survived a lot. I suggest it for anyone who has a habit of being a bit rough on their phones.
