Do you review every product you buy on Eden?

Contributor: Blinker Blinker
When you buy a toy or other product from the site, do you always write a review for it? I recently bought a large load of BDSM gear and lingerie and for the life of me, just can't write reviews for any of it. These are just things I bought, they were not assigned to me, and I didn't use the buyout option, so nothing is really expected of me, I suppose, but I do feel as if I NEED to review them, if for nothing else than to give my opinion. So far though, no dice.

What about you guys? Do you write a review for every product you buy here at Eden, or do you just write reviews for what you are assigned or what you buy on buyout?

I tend to write reviews on everything I buy from here just because, well, I want to let everyone else know my opinion. Plus, it helps me to keep up a steady flow of reviews and not get rusty on my writing capabilities.

Plus, I just like writing about the things I buy

I have about 10 that I have not done a review for, mostly they have been toys or lube that already have LOTS of reviews for. As an example Maximus.

The only one like this I did do one for was the Tantus Ryder, that one was so nice and felt so good that I just had to share.

I's true it's hard to find the motivation when an item is not assigned, but I do intend to review a few fancy glass toys that I purchased a while ago and that do not have many reviews.

I would like to, but I don't. If I don't NEED to, I usually do not.

There are times, though, that I do.

Out of the three toys I first bought here, I've reviewed only one of them (Crystal Lover), made a customer comment about another (a bullet), and didn't bother with the third (I merely dedicated a post to it's new name - my Sonic Lipstick).

There are other things I want to buy, mainly because they have plenty of consistent reviews so I know it'll be good quality. I'd just vote on them. Right now I'm establishing my review-writing with assignments.

(How long until he's back from China so you two can play with your new gear?)

We got a fun weekend out of the stuff right before he left. We stayed in two shitty hotel rooms and played. It was a send-off gift for him, so to speak, heehee.

Btw, Sonic Lipstick = OMG AWESOME!

I try to, though I have a huge backlog.

Primarily, I do them offsite because I can then use affiliate links and make a few bucks to buy more. In fact, I get most of my stuff using affiliate sales. It's a nice little circle for me and if I don't review them, I don't make money and can't get more.

I do get horrible writers block, though, and lack motivation or time to do them.

I don't review all of them, but I try to do most of them. I'll usually do the ones that really wowed me before getting to anything else.

If EF carries it and I bought it elsewhere I still review it here. I don't have a blog or review for any other companies. So basically this is it.

I review everything I buy from here or from other places as well. I figure why not? I like to write, and don't have a blog to do so in.

I love to write reviews! It not only helps add to my rank but I am able to improve on my writing skills here as well as in school! Plus it is really fun to do, and I do use the buyout option because I am always broke lol

I have a lot of toys sitting at home that I have purchased from here, but not reviewed yet. I DO plan to though. Also any toys or items I had BEFORE finding EF, I still plan to review on EF as long as they carry that same product.

Eventually, I get around to reviewing the products I purchased, but I don't rush to get them on there. If it's assigned though, I try to get those up within 2 weeks of receiving the item.

I try to keep track of what I buy from Eden so that I can review it later, but it's just sort of on the back burner for now. The type of product also affects how eager I am to write a review for it.

I have all on my assignment cart, but I find it hard to get motivated to write them. I am planning on it though. I have over 20 items on there right now, so it is a bit overwhelming!

I write reviews for most things. I don't like writing DVD reviews or book reviews though, so I have a few of each that I haven't written reviews for, and I probably won't. I just don't think my reviews on the items would be very useful and I don't have anything new to offer on them than the other reviews.

Blink, isn't there something about a crapppy hotel room that brings out the Kink in ya, though?

We had a place near where we used to live, when I was too young to move in with My Man, and we were in an Open Relationship, but seeing each other more and more. This place was called, "Johnny's 4 Hour Nap." It was a Fuck Motel. That's it. You rented it by 4 hour blocks. You got a bed, a shower and toilet, maybe a nightstand and a TV with raunchy "free" porn on it.

Damn, the memories.....(P'Gell shivers with delight....)

Eh, mostly not just because I am usually stocked with reviews to write on products I actually *have* to review. There has been the occasional review on something I don't *need* to review though. I know I have some products that I bought and want to review eventually though.

There have been a few things I bought, mostly lubes, that did not work for me AT ALL, so I haven't written reviews for them yet. Maybe I will eventually.

I WISH we had that. These places were just...interesting, I'll put it that way. There were lube stains on one set of sheets on one bed (we were given a room with 2 beds) and a Spongebob lamp and ANCIENT phone in the other. I'm pretty sure at one point we heard gunshots, but it was a fun weekend, I'll say that much

I have a bunch of things I haven't reviewed yet, but I mean to get around to it eventually. There are a couple things I might now bother to review though, like lubes that already have a ton of reviews and I don't really feel like I have anything to add. We'll see though.

I don't review everything I buy. Randy is too big for me. You can't review a product you can't really use. Others were so underwhelming that I'm not inspired to review them. And some, like Adam's Pleasureskin Cock already have a zillion reviews so I'm not sure yet another review of that one will add value.

When i start writing reviews, I pretty sure I will be. I have a number of products from EF that I can review, and some that EF carry but I got elsewhere.

It's the 'discreet' mini vibe that looks like a tube of lipstick link. I nicknamed it the 'Sonic Lipstick' from the British sci-fi show 'The Sarah Jane Adventures'.
