No, I've never tried to steal - even when I was a teenager.

No I do not steal. I've never been a theif, but I have a family member a very close one who robs me blind every chance she gets. We took a vacation in Florida just a week ago and I had to literally pack everything I could into my suitcase and the rest of my important things like jewerly, gifts, perfumes, etc had to be locked in my car because she steals. I still had no choice but to leave some things like my box of Vitachews and a brand new, never opened, still in the box bottle of perfume my lovie bought me. He buys me a new bottle each year around Christmas and I'd still not ran completely out of my last bottle, so I had my brand new one here. Came home and every Vitachew was gone, the box of my perfume was still in its spot and I said "at least she didn't steal my perfume." Then I PICKED up the box and sure enough, she took the damn bottle out and left the box. She stole our dishes, everything almost that was left.

So being stolen from like this my entire life is enough for me to never have had the desire to do this to someone else. EVER.

I haven't ever stolen from a person, but I do plan to go and steal my belongings back from this family member.

Now, from stores? I have stolen. I've stolen lip gloss from Wal-Mart before. I remember being a kid and finding this little keychain thing and it was in the floor with no tag on it, so I took the risk of sticking it in my shoe and walking out with it! LOL. I was a nervous wreck over that tiny stupid keychain. Other than that though, I haven't ever stolen.

I only steal heart...:-D As for stealing in general.. No if i don't have the money to buy it then i really don't need it. Nothing is worth going to jail, ruining your reputation,
or losing your job over...

Nope, unless you count accidentally walking off with a pen I was writing with in a store or office. It doesn't happen often, but it has lol.

OMG What in the world that is insane!! Do these people live with you? I wouldn't be letting them in my house if they didn't live with me and if they lived with me they wouldn't be for much longer! That is INSANE Kendra!!! I hope you get everything back that she stole. That is sad on so many levels especially since it is family stealing from you.

Nope and I would not. I once had my purse stolen and it was the worst feeling ever. I would never do that to someone else.

When I was a little girl, I stole fruit out of the produce section at the grocery store, but I thought it was okay, because my grandma told me to put it in my pockets. When I was walking out of the store, I pulled an apricot out of my pocket and started eating it, and my sister, who is four years older than me, was scandalized. "You can't do that! You can't put fruit in your pockets!" And I told her, quite self-assuredly, "Well, grandma told me I could!" My sister didn't know how to respond to that.

That's the only time I've ever stolen anything.

No. I've been accused of stealing in the past (when I didn't!) and it felt terrible. I've also had things stolen from me, and that also felt awful. I'll never forget reaching into my backpack to find out that one of my "friends" had stolen $70 from me, along with a brand new sweater, and my favorite pair of jeans. I was heartbroken! I was only a teenager at the time, and that money was to pay for a taxi so that I could get home!

With cameras hidden everywhere...and tiny as can be, I cannot imagine how nuts one would have to be to THINK they can get away with shop lifting. Other kinds of stealing I would not do anyway.

A lot of us have had out CHILDHOOD moments. We didn't know better or different. Not the same as an adult making a conscious and informed decision to steal.

We had a friend of our daughters, from college, drop in to town unexpected. We didn't know this girl at all, but opened our home to her for the weekend. Later, we found cash and jewelry gone (we have stuff laying all over around here). We didn't say anything, because it is a waste of time, but she lost our daughter as a friend and we would NEVER have her in our home again. She burned lots of bridges by that nasty act.
