I almost always use my debit card. I've even been to a few places that no longer except cash.

one credit card helps me keep track of all purchases & I don't have to balace a checkbook - I always pay my credit card off every month.

I have a AmEx charge card. Different from a credit card in that the full balance is due at the end of each month rather than just a minimum payment. We run all our daily purchases on that to earn points and then pay it at the end of the month with no interest.

Debit cards are probably the most dangerous transaction type there is. If someone cracks your debit card they just empty your account. Credit card companies generally protect you from unauthorized use. I either use CC or cash.

I use my debit card the most, followed by checks. I like to write checks at the grocery store, because I have a couple days' float before it comes out of my account. (Yeah, I know that's bad...)
