It depends which site has the answer I am looking for. I get a bit frustrated with the questions that have either no answer or a non helpful answer.

I mainly read yahoo answers for the silly/strange/insane questions and answers. Also, unless it's all trolling, judging by the "I kissed/held hands/touched a boy/etc etc am I pregnant" questions, parents or the schools (or both) need to improve sex ed.

I've only posted one question: I was visiting Toronto in February, stumped on how to pack, and wanted some local opinions before I went out and bought boots, wool socks, etc (I live in SC, making such winter "essentials" not so).
Google frequently gives me Yahoo Answers questions in my search results and I read them, but I don't take the answers as fact, especially if it's on a medical topic.

I used to use it, when it used to be helpful, and I think I'm in the same boat as a lot of other ex-users. It's all trolling and people trying to be funny or get points for just writing an answer without being helpful, or someone making you feel bad. there's sites that post funny trolling questions and answers and since those sites have been created, most of the site has just become a joke. the LGBT section used to be really interested and helpful but now it seems like nobody even bothers anymore. it's so much more helpful to randomly google to be honest

It can be useful sometimes. Especially when you have a specific question. Mostly I just read other people's questions and answers though.

I never have, occasionally a Google search will bring something on yahoo answers up as a result but that is the closest I've gotten to using it.
