I always hit at least once haunted house each season. I also grade them on special effects, timing, music, mood, and other skill-based things. I am almost never scared; I'm too busy admiring how the skulls set into the walls are being lit by atmospheric lighting to be bothered with jump scares and loud noises.
Theme parks are especially great places to do this! I have a few season passes for local ones just so I can hit the haunted houses in the fall. It also gives me an excuse to go ride some coasters during the rest of the year.

I don't know what it was, but that guy scared the daylights outta me, and he just would not leave me alone. I remember saying "moma, I'm about to get mad!" when he was chasing me. God, it's horrible! I could not help it though. I think part of my scaredy catness was because he resembled a person who done a very bad thing to me, so perhaps had he looked different? Okay, who am I kidding? Lol.
So I do enjoy these things, but sometimes they're a tad too much for me. Lol.

I love "haunted houses", I tend to jump a bit and maybe make a small startled squeak sort of sound but not really an ear splitting all out scream. xD
Truth be told I'd love to go to a real (though relatively mild...no Bobby Mackey's Music World for me x_x ) haunted house to investigate.

I went yesterday. It wasn't very exciting and was $50 for two people. Crazy expensive for that.

I enjoy Haunted Houses. Remember all the time going every Halloween with friends. I unfortunately haven't seen any out here and the wife is 9 months pregnant right. Oh the good side if we were to go we might have a baby...
