So we all know the typical stereotypes about hair colors, but I thought I would do some "research" and see how many of you think that your personality, temperament, attitude and general outlook on life. So, I've compiled a list of the 3 most common stereotypes for NATURAL hair color, but I also thought it would be fun to throw in a stereotype not often talked about in hair color, but one that IS out there!

Brunettes: Stable, Down-to-Earth, Elegant, Intelligent
Blondes: Young, Fun, Bubbly... and Dumb
Redhead: Passionate, Fiery, Femme Fatale
Dyed Hair (blues, greens, etc): Mysterious, Artistic, Fun, Creative

I did choose to keep voting public, although I know some are offended by the stereotypes in hair colors, but this is just for fun! If you would like to elaborate, or give a more detailed response feel free! And of course it is at your discretion to chose a yes or no to whether you fit the stereotype if you don't meet all or most of the "stereotypical" assumptions of your hair color!

I have variably colored hair, tattoos, and piercings.. I'm also an ecologist. I get a lot of people who think I'm an artist and are surprised I'm a scientist with pretty good credentials and history.

I am a natural redhead, I have a short temper, I'm feisty, and extremely passionate!

I do have characteristics of the others, creativity, I'd consider myself smart, and I can be fun (ok, mostly hyper...)

I am a natural redhead and my husband swears I fit the age old adages to a tee, except my temperament. It has mellowed with age and with my medical diagnoses, given the fact that stress can induce a relapse (with MS).

He tells me, he always dreamed he would bed a redhead and he got way more than he bargained for.

I'm technically brunette, blonde and a redhead: I have a majority of brown hair, spots of blonde, and, if I grow a beard, red hair. Generally, though, I do fit the brunette stereotype, but I certainly have my dumb blonde moments, can be quite fiery, and I certainly hope creative!

im a brunette and fit it to a tee!!although I dye it because I have grays,i keep it as close to my natural hair color as i can.and im proud to be brunette ..wouldnt wana be anything else!!!

My natural hair is dark brown, but was black when I was a baby. I dyed it red for years. The last few years I've been dying it black and discovered Feria Blue Black and I love it.

So, I don't know which personality I would fit. I'm pretty damn fiery. I don't think I'm at all mysterious.

My hair is currently purple, bright red, bright pink, and I think there's still some blue left. Sometimes I fit the "stereotype" of the dyed hair, but a lot of times I'm closer to the brunette, which is actually my natural hair color.

I am a brunette naturally and I dye my hair black usually. I fit my stereotype sort of. I am intelligent and down to earth. I do not think I am elegant, that just does not fit me at all.

Naturally blond with hair dyed red. I often joke "If I didn't color my hair, you'd understand why I'm such an airhead." Everyone's taken aback because the red looks natural on me and blond looks awful - even people imagining me blond makes them cringe in disbelief.

But I also do have the Celtic temper and passion to go along with the freckles and body I have. Just that the genetic crapshoot gave me dishwater blond hair instead. The red dye merely makes more sense.

Reminds me, I need to dye it again. Red fades so fast; it's strawberry-blond right now.

LOL! I have a mug, (which has both my ancestries on it) that says, "Celtic Temper, Italian Attitude" Couldn't be more accurate.

the elegant part i have but not down to earth. i've been told i'm kind of erratic and neurotic, if anything, and i will say, on certain days, I have a skewed vision of reality. and i wouldn't call myself the most stable person ever; my mood swings are pretty much all over the map :/

OMG I'm one of those people that really did think you were a redhead - it fits you so well!

I'm blonde and I'm intelligent, brutally honest, kind of sultry, cynical, and domineering so not at all my stereotype.

I am a natural brunette and I dye my hair red on occasion, but I can't be fussed with it most months out of the year. I am intelligent, down to earth, fiery and passionate. The femme fatale might not be too off the mark, either.

That's why I didn't think to add that in, but there ARE stereotypes about it

But technically there is no such thing as "black" hair it's just really dark brown.
