I really do like both. Grew up with dogs AND cats at the same time. Now, we only have cats because my husband is a total cat person. I do like dogs though.

I love my cuddly playful kitten. I love dogs but with 3 kids it almost feels as if I am having another child to care for with a pup. Cats don't need as much 'mommy attention' and schedules like dogs and I can trust the kids to help with feeding and cat box chores rather than making sure they get out for a walk/run and playtime.

I have 5 cats and one dog. I like my cats better. They are so sweet and cute. They care for themselves. My pup takes a lot more care. It's like having a toddler.

I'm much more of a dog person as well. I want a pet who shows affection readily, and one that doesn't use the bathroom in my house. Just about every cat owner's home I've ever been in has reeked of cat urine -- and that's an awful smell!

I like both. I've always been more of a dog person, but if I were to get a pet, it would probably be a cat because they require less attention than a dog.

I had to go with dogs because I've grew up with them my entire life! I love cats, too, but I have a severe allergy to them.
