Fill me in on how you guys do your laundry. Do you use dryer sheets, add softener during wash, or just throw everything together and hope it comes out clean?

In wash softener, though sometimes I do use dryer sheets in combination with the softener.

Unscented dryer sheets. I've yet to find a liquid softener that wasn't filled with perfume.

We use in wash softener. We used to use dryer sheets, but they caused our dryer to break down and the repairman told us to switch to liquid softener.

Softener. I hate dryer sheets. They multiply and wind up in my sock at work. lol.
