Have you ever thought of something in your head and then shortly later it is invented? This drives me nuts, I have had it happen like 5 times..one of the big ones was years ago, I told my family that they should come up with a thing for drivers to blow in before their car starts.

Not inventions, but story ideas. I'm still trying to figure out where Steve Moffat hid the brain raping device in my house, because several of my fanfic ideas and background details (which were never published online) ended up in "Doctor Who" and "Sherlock".

I was trying to think of a cheap easy way to play MP3's in your car before they had MP3 players, then they can out with car stereos that play them and MP3 players.

Definitely! I have made my own adapted cycle parts--then someone machined them later. Many more small household items, too.

Yep, my father used to invent toys that weren't for sale yet and then they'd end up getting made. I remember that he made my little sister a Barbie basketball court and hoop and then Mattel actually put one out a few years later. (His was wood though.)

I have one now I don't want to tell anyone about because I am afraid that it will be invented. There has never been any that I have thought about and they have been made yet. I just keep praying I don't come across mines one day.
Let's just say it is something for a key chain holder and has to do with letters. A group of us in school seen a key chain that was geared towards women for the word bitch. So we came up with one for the guys. I will stop there.
The words were:
B- Beautiful
I- Intelligent
T- Talented
C- Cunning
H- Horny
Girl
I thought that was cute. Mine for the men is even better.
