I was eating a big Fig Newton & it said the "original" kind. So I guess all these years I've been eating the non-original kind! But while I was eating it & spitting out the really hard seeds that's in the fruit stuff, I thought wow. These are kind of gross. But I actually like them okay. Wouldn't say I love them & they're definitely not my top favorite sweet, but I like them. So I thought about asking if you guys like them? Do you? Do you? Huh?

I love Fig Newtons!! I always forget they exist, then get wicked amped when I remember. I like to snap the seeds between my teeth. I'm a fan of the original ones over the other flavors.

Figs gross me out. I really try to avoid anything that contains the digestive tract of another animal (like oysters etc) for ick reasons, which includes the fig plant. They're allowed to have like 13 bug parts to 100g of fig or something like that.

I don't like Fig Newtons, but I like other flavors of Newtons. I currently have Sweet Peach Apricot Newtons and they're really amazing! Plus no seeds!

Hate the seeds though! They hurt my teeth and they get stuck in them. Lol.

I just knew there'd be someone who did. I hate when I'm having cravings and see photos or talk about food that sound so delicious, especially if it's late at night & I have nothing that resembles it in the house. Err! That is annoying because then I won't be able to stop thinking about said delicious food until I get one/some/whatever. Lol. Thanks for the tip too. I've never had any other than the "real" ones, so I'll store that info away for future use. "Do not buy the store brand Fig Newtons. They aren't as good as the Real ones."
