Have you ever played it?
The supposed proper way to play differs but from my knowledge, you're to go into the bathroom, turn off all the lights, place blood and water on the mirror and chant "Bloody Mary" 8 times.

I heard it was being in a dark bathroom in front of the mirror and chanting her name 100 times in a low voice then 100 times in a high voice.

Guilty! Was fun, nothing happened. We all got a good scare though when my friend's Mom poked her head in the door.

A group of friends and me did the chant before a choir thing we had as a harmless prank on one our more superstitious friends nothing happened beyond the girl we had hidden to scare our other friend

yes, minus the blood part. I don't think we knew to do that. Nothing happened, which even at 8 years old I knew, but all my friends talked me into doing it with them.

I never tried that one, but a friend of mine had a chunk of cement in the middle of her yard. We pulled out the Wigi board and scared my sister. We told her it was a grave site. And this scary story about a scary little boy. We tried to bring him to life and acted like he was talking to us. It was pretty funny. Though, completely made up. Nothing ever happened.
