While on the phone in the same call I have both freaked out about not being able to find my keys (they were in my hand, I had just been holding them for a long time), and not being able to find my phone (only to be politely reminded that I was on my phone).

I've never done this with my phone. But I have with other things. One time I was going insane trying to find my pencil (I was still in school) and after ripping apart the room, I realized it was.... clenched between my teeth the entire time.

very rarely does it happen, but when it does i'm usually in a hurry.
i was trying to get to my guys work before his lunch break, and got in the car and couldn't find my phone anywhere... i was on it talking to my bestie.. i felt pretty retarded when she told me i was talking to her on it.

I do this rather often, but don't really feel stupid. Normally I'm using my phone for music (32GB MicroSD, woo!) and when I get a call I'll pat my pocket before remembering my music player and my phone are one and the same.

Once I was looking for my keys for about 10-15 minutes being in my hand for the entire time!!!
It has happened with my phone too once or twice, and oh, if one could just ring anything, like you ring your phone to find it! (As I remember I found out that the phone was in my hand when I was about to ring it with another one... )
Here is another thing what used to happen with me a few times: school, being a lil kid, my mind elsewhere, unwrapping my cheese, cheese in one hand, foil in the other, standing above the trash bin... Guess which landed in it? ~roflmao ^^ ~blushes
