Have you ever received a non-discreet package?

Contributor: JennSenn JennSenn
No. I would never order from somewhere that didn't say they were discrete. I would be mortified and would definitely complain if it happened to me!

No I haven't, but that would be really embarrassing

No but I had a company that sends discreet boxes send very obscene mailings out. To my parents house none the less! Eeep.

The full line read "plastic B/O Sensual Vibrators of no commercial value"
I have no idea what B/O stands for, but I am with Stormy, it was just a way to get it through customs faster. I am not sure if I can add a link on here to the site but I will see. because it's actually a funky little vibe that I have never seen or heard about before.

Yep, one to review and one to give away via a contest.

I've had it happen a few times, usually review items from other sites that list the name of the product on the outer packaging. Things like 'Orgasmic rabbit' and 'vibratory device sample' I'm sure my in-laws are well aware of what I do by now.

Never have, but since no one else gets my mail but me, I don't think it would bother me all that much. Maybe when my kids get a little older, I'd be worried about it.

I order from another company (can't remember their name) and they had the company name on the package. The company name wasn't exactly discreet! Never ordered from them again. Then again I haven't order from any other company since joining EF.

I never have. I once ordered from Adam and Eve, and they sent it the same way Eden does...discreet name, brown box.

That sounds really embarassing. My neighbor often brings my packages inside - that would be an awkward handoff.

Nope. I still think "Web Merchants" sounds very... well, it's discreet but it's still so nondescript that it's suspicious.

I haven't really gotten an indiscreet package either, I mean one company put their name on it but it could have been any type of product. I don't really care it can come with penises all over the package and I wouldn't care I guess I am not ashamed or embarrassed.

OMG! You poor thing! Who was the company? Sorry. Nosey over here.

I have had one that said "massagers" on it. But I never look at my packages' labels because... believe it or not, I actually want to be surprised so I have this really F'd up ritual you could call it. I order online A LOT and today, for instance, had 3 packages (none from EF, mind you) and my partner brings them in to me and I sit them beside me on the bed, I get my X-acto knife out, CLEAN the damn room, then light up a smoke while I cut them open, never looking at the label. The last two are not opened until an hour or two after the first. LOL. Why am I like this!? So I very well could have had a revealling package before and never noticed, but usually, after I've seen the inner contents, I do look at the label on the box. Lol. I know, I'm weird! My partner cannot understand the "ritual" I do with opening packages. And he will read the label and want to tell me what it says, but I won't let him because it'll give it away. Ha Ha.

I have been ordering Liquid Silk for a few years now & have only bought it straight from the manufacturer's page, and all the times I've bought it, the package arrived saying "personal lotion" which kind of made me laugh, but I don't think it was too revealling.

"Sexual Vibrators" would make me a little flipped out since a lot of my packages are seen by other people, and often the post office where I know about everybody! LOL. I know my boxes will sit around the room waiting for me to "get ready" Lol, so a lot of my family read the box if they're over. They'll say "why don't you open that." or "hey! What did you get?" And I'm like "nothing. I will not open it until I'm ready and I am not ready at all. This room is still a mess, don't you see?!" LOL. I'm not that crazy, but I should be more careful I suppose. I had no idea some companies were that damn honest on the labels! LOL

Not yet. I think the industry as a whole has a pretty good handle on why people shop online.

What made it worse was that the envelope (cheap manila) only contained the BOX the lube was supposed to be in. The actual bottle of lube was AWOL. The seller hadn't bothered even to tape the envelope properly.

SO glad I discovered EF not long after this happened.

Was that a certain sex toy company named after the world's first couple? They sent me some stuff like that, too. I gave them a piece of my mind (but not any more of my business).
