What are the boldest ways you wear your makeup in public? I like using eye makeup and I've created some nice looks, but never know how much is too much to b out in the world. Then again, who cares what other people think, right?

I love either bright red lips, or intense eyeshadow that pops!

I feel the same.

For daytime, I usually wear black eyeliner and mascara, and will often do a very subtle smoky effect. For going out, I'm more vibrant and like to use vivid colors, but not look like a clown.I'd love to do some makeup "art" and paint more of my face than just the standard eye area, but I haven't had any events to attend for which that would be appropriate. Maybe I'll throw a "masquerade" party and people can use makeup art as the costumes!

Some of my everyday makeup patterns.....I don't take many pics of my makeup, especially recently, so I don't have any of the ones I do most often nowadays.

I stick to bold eyeliner, like I go around my whole eye and then the top lid. And then pair it with brown, purple, grey, green, or pink, but usually brown. Then some mascara, but nothing overboard, although I do wear a lot of eyeliner.



This is pretty much how my makeup looks all the time. I hate lipstick and never wear it, so I only do my eyes.

Im not good at putting makeup on myself. I can do a basic very clean look. This is funny because Im a makeup artist. I think I am very good at doing all sorts of beauty make ups on other people, but I just cant do it on myself.

My everyday eye makeup is a slight cat tail liner style and upper eyeshadow. I stick to shades of brown, with a well manicured brow. My bolder days are with a strong blue base red lipstick. My husband loves it when I do a really strong eye makeup. Basically a nice smokey look with bottom eyeliner.

I don't really do anything crazy for everyday, sometimes a funky color, but I really don't have a lot of time. I have done stage makeup before though that's been really crazy.

I don't do anything crazy most of the time. I occasionally do bright shadows but make sure to keep the rest of my makeup toned down to avoid looking clown-like. I know it is possible to pull off bright colors everywhere on the face, but I am not the person who can do it.

Weird. I have no ability whatsoever at doing makeup on other people. Just myself.

I like natural. The only make up I do wear when I am going out dancing or something, is eye shadow,lip stick, and eye liner. But i stick to the browns.

Pretty bold, but I also don't wear it out in public. Usually. I like blues and purples---they tend to make my eye color appear to be green instead of blue. Kind of like Beck's picture but a nice blue based purple.

On average about 30 minutes....depending on the design and the weather (lighting/ temperature affecting eyeliner consistency), anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes.

If I'm wearing makeup I tend to just darken my eyebrows, conceal my dark circles, add some blush and maybe do a little cat eye. Most of the time I'm too lazy to do ANY of that. Sometimes I remember to grab my tinted chapstick, though?

Oh yeah. I darken my eyebrows now, too, on account of my eyebrows are light and don't grow in quite right.

I don't wear much makeup... But when I do, it's just natural colors. Tans and browns. Occasionally, I'll use some silver and charcoal eyeliner, but it's just a thin line. I do like shimmery tans, though.
All of my lip makeup (lipstick, gloss, whatever) is natural looking shades too. Just to add some color to my lips. I'm pale, and have rather pale lips as well.

i tend to be all over the place when it comes to make up. some days it's nothing or very light and natural looking. other's it is very bold and wild. i think it depends on my mood. and when i do the wild makeup, you can tell that i have learned a lot of tricks from drag queens they always have the best make up tips and tricks.

I don't wear much makeup usually.

At most I'll do a nice refined smokey eye look and a bit of lip tint.

I used to use a lot more color when I was a teen, but now I basically stick to brown/black/grey on the eyes.

My standard makeup face is to put just enough foundation or concealer to cover spots/blemishes when I have them and to make my eyes look less dark and tired. Then a slim line of light brown eyeliner on the top and bottom because I feel like I look weird without anything, and a slight bit of black mascara.

I don't use blush unless I'm dressing up. When I'm dressing up I also do more in the way of eye makeup, upping and darkening the eyeliner, using more eye shadow and more dramatic lashes.

That's about it.

Most days I spend much more time putting on my lotions, cremes, moisturizers, dry oil and perfume than my makeup lol

i hardly wear make up when i do its just minor things like lipgloss and cover up and some times blush,only for speacil events tho.

Nah its not that, I just cant get a steady enough hand for anything fancy on myself. Im an artist too though so I think im used to pointing brushes in the other direction. And seeing things in a mirror is way different than seeing it in a mirror backwards. haha I dunno I just dont like doing it on myself. Im a professional makeup artist so I dont think people take me serious sometimes because I wont do fancy make up or hair on myself. Its kind of a curse.

My SO would have me wear no makeup at all, but I do wear a little for everyday. Just foundation, eyeliner, and powder. I don't even own any eye shadow, mascara, blush, or lipstick.

How I usualy do my make up is just Eyeliner and mascurea. But then sometime depends on my mood i will do bright blue, or really bright color eyeshadow. Since i have blue eyes, I think it really makes my eyes POP !

I usually wear either bright pin up red lips and neutral eyes, or fabulous eye makeup and nude lips. My everyday makeup, though, is at least: foundation, mascara, and tinted lipgloss.
