I always have a list, I don't like to grocery shop without one. I usually will end up getting other stuff that catches my eye.

If we're limited on money and only need a few things, we'll go straight for those things and leave, otherwise it's too tempting! XP Normally though, we just go down every isle and get what looks good.

Go straight in for what I came for & completely skip the rest, if it's grocery shopping. Other shopping like at the drugstore or dollar stores for little things like drinks and shampoos, I'll hang around and see what else is there. I hate grocery shopping so I get straight to the point on that one. Lol.

I always shop with a list of what I need, usually organized by aisle if I'm only going to one store. I very rarely pick out extra items, only if my fiance is with me and he seems to want something extra. I avoid stuff that looks like junk food and anything that just screams "convenient" since both are very overpriced. Usually I try to load up on stuff I can use for more than one meal or ingredients to make food from scratch since it is cheaper.
