Well I was uprooted nearly once every 2-4 years it felt. I was moved from a trailer in Eastsport to an apartment in Calais, then to a trailer in Calais. After that my mother got a boyfriend and we moved to Baileyville to a house, but 18 months after my mother got pregnant and we didn't have enough room anymore so I moved out at age 7 to my grandfather's apartment in the same town. About 3 years later my grandfather and mother lost custody of me and put me in ANOTHER town in ANOTHER house. I lived there for two years, then turned around and moved home. My mother put me back in care because I was hard to handle (she didn't want to deal with it) so I went from house there to house up there. Then I moved to another house in the same town. 2 years later I moved to Calais to live in a group home. Finished 8th grade, moved to Milbridge into a foster home, but they didn't want me no more so they sent me to a group home in Ellsworth. I lived there for 3 years, then moved BACK to Lubec to live in the first foster home I was in. Turned 18, moved in with my mom. Got a boyfriend, moved to where I am now. So all in all, I moved a total of *counts on fingers* 14 times. But my husband and I are planning moving at least one more time. :/ I hate that.
