In short....let's see how common UNDIES to bed is, with those who share a bed with a potential lover.
I was just floored by another poll..."do you wear undies to sleep". Lots of people here said "YES". If you are in a relation where SOME ONE ELSE sleeps with you, do you still do that?

Unless I fall asleep immediately after sex (which I rarely do) I have to put panties on to sleep. I feel cold and naked and I need panties and a nightgown so I can sleep.
My husband does, too. Unless he falls asleep right after sex (which he does more often than I do in the evening.)
We have kids, so for many years, I was up during the night running around the house taking care of babies and small children. I had to wear underwear to bed and a nightgown. I never felt comfortable nursing a child without being dressed, and I got up a lot at night to nurse babies and toddlers back to sleep, so I got used to having clothes on when I slept.

I get your point about "comfort" however. In my case, we live where it is HOT and I am always HOT, HOT...so the less the better. Ceiling fan always on!!!!

It's hot here, too. (And, I "Flash" from time to time.) We use the air conditioner and the ceiling fan. Also, I'm a pretty juicy woman and I don't want to have to change the sheet every day.... I would if I didn't wear underwear to bed or sleep on a towel.

Rarely, if ever, do I wear panties. I had so little underwear, both times I had my children, I had to go purchase packs of underwear. I never wear it. I hate it.

I only wear my underwear to bed if I'm on my period. I do, however, wear pyjamas sometimes. I'm not a huge fan of being naked without a reason.

Also, our dogs aren't allowed upstairs and certainly not on our bed. Not only is it a waterbed and they could pop it, but my kids and I have allergies, so the pups have to stay downstairs where I can handle the hair and dander better.

Sex is every day, sometimes twice, and it IS fun!
We also have a King size maroon sheet that we fold over and a Liberator Throe that we put down, because it's hard to stay ON a towel when you're fucking your brains out.

Chewing knuckle bones, sticks, etc. on the bed is the reason we always keep at least a light bedspread or comforter covering the bed. On the plus side - it taught us to make sure to pull up the covers when we get up every morning.
Quality waterproof mattress covers - worth their weight in gold!
Neither of us wears anything to bed year round.

In the winter I usually sleep alone and I definitely wear undies to bed. In the Fall, Summer and Spring, I sleep with my fiance and I still generally wear undies to bed, except sometimes in the summer when it's really hot and humid (but we have an air conditioner in the bedroom now).
