The toy recommendation doesn't say it's harness compatible, but with a small enough o-ring, wouldn't the square base be all set to be used in a harness?

You could use it with a harness with a small enough O-ring, but it's also very short at just 3 1/2" long, so it may not be long enough to be very usable that way.
