Could you live in a RV with your family for a month?

Contributor: Rod Ronald Rod Ronald
So, we are building a new house and we have to live in our RV for at least a month. I'm not to thrilled but it has to be done. Do you think you could survive living in a RV with a 6 year old and your wife and live to talk about it? Or would you snap like "The Shining"?

Every one of us will go nuts if we live in a RV, even for just two days, we need plenty of space.

I have been...for 2 and a half months...lol. Waiting for the new place to be moved and set up and taking longer than thought. Camping in my paps camper in his yard.

Off course - you should include 'other'. We would survive it - but no it would not be a piece of cake. We liven in an apartment for 4 months and that was pretty easy - but in a mobile home - not at all easy!

I could only do it if we were, say, on vacation and so therefore occupied doing vacation stuff instead of annoying each other all day.

I would not do it voluntarily...though I totally understand doing this while waiting for your house to be finished!

Hopefully you get out on schedule

F no! LOL. Sorry. I couldn't do it and be totally content. I love my family, and it's not that I want to escape them at all. I actually love being around them all. The more we're around each other, the better (for most of my fam anyway.) But I NEED my privacy. I really need my comfortable, alone, privacy. I suppose if it were a situation as drastic as yours though, I'd probably find I wasn't so picky, but I'm not great without my privacy. PS. I am really sorry to hear that. I assume it's something to do with the hurricane, and if so, just know you guys will be in my thoughts and prayers!

With kids, that'd be even harder! The kids are who I need my privacy from the most. LOL

I could, but wouldn't want to if I didn't have to. There would be fights for sure!

Oh no, no hurricane. We had damage from the tornados that ripped through the midwest months and months ago. It wasn't bad but after time it got worse so we decided to just upgrade and build a new addition, that was the plan at first, then all hell broke lose and here we are ready to just rip out and start over...in the middle of November...great plan...and go live in an RV with a hyper 6 year old...who can't stand still for more then 3 seconds...and no chance of having any kind of "Sexy" the whole time...yeah...I'm gonna go ahead and run away now.
