I keep toys until they break or seem gross to me. When I first started buying toys and didn't know much about quality, I would tend to keep them for a year at most before I needed to replace them. Now that I've been buying higher quality toys they last longer and stay cleaner. So I'm guessing some of them I might keep for a decade or more.

My oldest toy is just shy of a year old and I'll have to throw it away soon because it's cheap and slowing down.

It was one of my first toys, it had to be over 5 years. It was cheaply made, and didn't work anymore, so I had to get rid of it recently.
