For the last nearly-8 months I've been with a Navy Submariner. He's on patrol for the first time since we've together right now, though admittedly, it's near the end of his patrol. What sorts of things make nice "welcome home" treats? I've been thinking about getting him something from EF for when he's away, any suggestions? What about tips for how to deal with him being away? I'm sorta new to the whole thing, and before I met him I was always the girl who thought that people who had relationships with military personnel were silly, so I never really thought about it.
