Myspace Finally Calls it Quits

Twitter all the way. I actually have weird anxiety about FB and I find I only really use it for the status updates..which is exactly what Twitter is

Fuck twitter!
I don't care when you shit, or what it looks like. The pictures of you boning Sasha and Petar Saturday at the rave though... that shits golden.
FACEBOOK FTW!

Oh man, I really hate twitter. I don't give a crap what other people are doing every second of the day. Everytime I trying to "follow" someone, I get so pissed off that I delete them. I really don't want to know if your brushing your teeth, driving to work or fucking someone. Facebook is somewhat better since you can post pictures and see how old friends look and such. I just really hate twitter. (Sorry twitter fans :3 )

Same here, but I still have my myspace simply for the fact of the billion pictures I have on it. I never use it anymore. Should just take them off and delete that shit! Social Network was a good movie though

Eh.

I could care less, on a personal level.
For me I only have Twitter because of Facebook and Facebook is more or less by backup for phone numbers when my phone breaks haha.

I love Twitter. I had a Facebook back when it was only for college students. When I graduated, I had no use for it so I deleted my account.

I have a vanilla profile on FB where I keep in touch with my family and friends. Twitter is just short statements... and anyway, my son says that sons don't let moms twitter...

I am a Facebook whore. I'm on there a lot posting articles, sharing stories and checking up on friends who I really don't get to see a lot. That's the main reason I have Facebook, is to keep track of friends. I'm really horrible and I hardly ever call people to say hi but on FB it's much easier to kind of get caught up with what everyone's doing and whatnot.

Plus, poking people is like super fun.

I have a Twitter but rarely do anything with it. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell # is for. GAWD.

I would use facebook....Twitter I would murder and bury in the backyard just to keep a eye on it. I can understand 10 years olds using it but grown people it just baffles me why they would run around "tweeting" and getting "fail whales".

As mean as it may be, I really miss the Facebook that was only for college students. It's weird to have my grandmother on it...

Actually, I would kill both. I only have a Twitter, but I hate both and would love to have them erased from the internet entirely...I feel like people are cruel to one another over sites like that and that they are also huge wastes of my time.

I remember the days of ICQ and AOL beta. Twitter, Facebook, Myspace...all of it can go away. No one really needs to know every single detail of your life. Not sharing those details that no one cares about keeps you mysterious and intriguing. I have a livejournal account, but it's not really about keeping people in the know, it's a place for me to vent about the people I know.

You can have albums of pictures on photobucket.com and various other photo hosting sites. You can even set up guest passwords so people only see what you want them to see.

There should be a "both" option!

Twitter is fairly useless, incredibly overhyped by the blogging community even though they're virtually the only ones who use it.

Facebook, on the other hand, has major security and privacy issues.

It may sound odd but I feel like with every new social site that we communicate less and less. The first one I joined was Live Journal, I could type as much as I wanted. Never joined MySpace, but I assume it has a character limit. I joined facebook to see I can only use 240 characters in my updates. And twitter is only 160. It's like we want to keep people updated, but I can hardly tell what people are saying since they try to cut down and make new abbreviation.

On fetlife I can barely say what I need to with the 200 limit, I guess I'm just a chatterbox.

I have never used twitter, so I would definitely kill that before Facebook. Like a lot of people already said, the constant updates are unnecessary and on Facebook there are pictures, games, events, groups, everything! I was never on MySpace, either, so I'm really just a FB person, I guess! I do hate when people have a million friends on Facebook that they HARDLY even know, though. Just delete them!- Having more Facebook friends isn't directly related to how many actual friends you really have

I use facebook and like it to keep in touch but it's too demanding. People expect that it be checked every day or be on it constantly. It's also turned into twitter the way people post statuses every 5 minutes about who-cares-what.

I don't use Facebook for much except Farmville (no laughing), but I like that I have the ability to be in touch with a lot of people I'd have no way to contact otherwise, like former co-workers and friends on different continents.

Twitter I have no use for.

I'm not on Facebook. Its not worth bashing here but I disagree with it terribly. I wish I could kill it with a golden arrow.

--That's not to sing Twitter's praises, either. I do use twitter, but I could stop using it easily enough. I only have one real-life friend on it, anyway, and with that being my boyfriend, I wouldn't be losing out terribly much. Its easy for me to stay connected with other bloggers, though, which is my favorite aspect.
